A classically trained composer, musical director, opera singer, and concert pianist, Daniel’s career has spanned from the classical world, to Broadway, to pop. Daniel teaches at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and at the New York Film Academy’s Musical Theatre Conservatory. He also tours the country conducting the national concert tour of The Midtown Men: a 60’s rock review show starring the four original leads of Broadway’s Jersey Boys. Other New York conducting credits include Hedwig and the Angry Inch and the Tony-Award winning Avenue Q.
As composer/lyricist, he has penned original musicals in New York and London, such as Wrong Could Be Right, Miss Humanity, Bebe vonBreckenburg's Beautiful Brooklyn Bridge Bridal Boutique, Calixte, Queen Bea: A Soapsical (which premiered in New York City starring the cast of ABC’s Daytime Drama, One Life to Live.), and - most recently - the sold-out revue 4 Scores... and 7 Shows Ago. Because of his extensive New York club credits, he was dubbed a “nightlife icon” by Broadwayworld.com with his long-running shows such as The Girly Show, The Broadway Brouhaha, and The Stonewall Singalong. He is also currently composing the songs for, and musically directing the recording of Photos on the Floor, the debut pop album of singer JWalker. Always, the first single from Photos on the Floor, is currently on sale on Itunes with proceeds benefiting The Brain Tumor Foundation. Lincoln is a featured composer/lyricist in The Directory of Contemporary Musical Theatre Writers, and his original theater music is available through the Directory and through direct request via the contact page. Local 802 AFM / ASCAP / Dramatists Guild member.
